Harwood's Cottage provides unique holiday accommodation in Dunsborough on a colonial property, in the 'Old Barn' and excellent Devonshire tea/coffee, cakes and lunch at the Harwood's Cottage Cafe.

Harwood's Cottage squats on a property that was originally known as Inlet Villa. The cluster of buildings is all that remains of the Quindalup townsite, which was the hub of a thriving timber industry from the mid to late 1800s. Timber from the Yelverton mills was transported, for export, by wooden tramline to a jetty opposite the property.

In 2000 Norma Andrews, whose family purchased the property in 1976, enlisted the support of the WA Heritage Council to restore the ramshackle, colonial buildings. Her efforts have turned them into a thriving cafe, museum and accommodation that are a legacy of the region's colonial and convict past.

Harwood's Cottage provides a beautiful location on your special day. Our gardens make the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.
