The Old Barn

(Circa 1860)
Unique holiday accommodation in Dunsborough

The Old Barn is a window into the rich history of a pioneering property, backs onto a government reserve and faces the lush gardens, and other historic buildings, that are the remnants of the former, thriving Quindalup townsite.

This fully, self-contained accommodation in Dunsborough is an ideal adult retreat, and has reverse-cycle air conditioning, TV and video, a cosy wood fire and facilities to prepare your own food.

Initially used as a bond store in the mid to late 1800s, it is believed to be the oldest building on the 140-year-old, five-hectare property. Its thick limestone walls are features of the two Queen-size bedrooms that are now situated where a lean-to once stood, which housed a forge, stable and cover for a sulky.

Also provided are tea, coffee, milk and cereal and a home-made loaf of bread with Harwood's award-winning jams. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary Devonshire tea or coffee at Harwood's Cottage Cafe
